Historic Windows Workshop

SBHA and the Curtis Park Heritage Committee are sponsoring two 1-day workshops on October 25 and 26 at the Sierra 2 Center on 24th Street in Sacramento. These all-day classes will be an active learning experience, where participants will rotate from the classroom to various stations, and see in practice the techniques of basic repair, maintenance, weatherization, and restoration of historic wood windows. Volunteer instructors from the community will demonstrate how they worked on their own windows, preserved the character of their historic homes, and saved their pocketbooks! Reservations are required as space is limited; confirmation letters with time and location will be sent within 10 days of receipt of registration. The fee of $20 will help defray costs, and includes lunch.
